National Enterprise Week

Bank of Ireland is delighted to launch our new National Enterprise Week in association with Enterprise Ireland to encourage business start-ups and innovation across Ireland.

Throughout the week of the 11th to 16th of May, Bank of Ireland will be hosting a series of events to inspire entrepreneurship through information, advice and support.

All events have been categorised under the four themes below. Click on each of the themes to see the schedule of events that are happening around the country during our National Enterprise Week.

    What is this week about?

    National Enterprise Week is the first ever national campaign focussed solely on the business community. In these challenging times it is important that businesses can seek advice and support from all parts of the local community. Bank of Ireland is at the centre of this community and is leading this charge.

    National Enterprise Week is about:

    • Providing an opportunity for businesses to meet with leading industry experts, and learn from their experiences
    • Hosting networking events so that businesses can grow their local and national networks
    • Giving business the support to become more innovative and focussed on the future
    • Lifting the spirit of entrepreneurship in Ireland
    • Encouraging people who are thinking about setting up a business to go to the right places for the right ideas.

    What events are taking place?

    The National Enterprise Week is a full week of events, open days, opportunities and networking. In conjunction with local partners, Our network of 280 branches will be hosting a range of events throughout the week including the following:

    • Business Advice Open Days
    • Enterprise Evenings
    • Business Networking Events
    • Business Breakfasts
    • Business Showcase
    • Business Exhibitions

    Guest speakers from a range of industries will be giving valuable and insightful advice intended to inform, encourage and inspire start-up and established businesses across Ireland.

    National Enterprise Week is for all businesses

    If there is only one business event that you make it to this year, National Enterprise Week is the one for you. There is something for every type and size of business throughout the week.

    We have four concrete themes throughout National Enterprise Week:

    1. Starting Your Business - Events specifically focussed on budding entrepreneurs and those who have recently started a business
    2. Running Your Business - Events focussed on those who are running their business and perhaps finding the current environment challenging. These events show how businesses can better run their business
    3. Growing Your Business - Events focussed on getting more from your business and expanding into new markets, new channels etc
    4. Showing Your Business - Events that show off other businesses and demonstrate the level of innovation and enthusiasm of Irish entrepreneurs

    We're excited about the opportunities that National Enterprise Week will give to businesses across Ireland, and we're genuinely committed to playing our part in getting business moving again.
